Jonathan Selwyn of Lark Energy is named as one of the top ten most influential people in the UK solar energy sector

Jonathan Selwyn, managing director of Larkfleet Homes' sister company  Lark Energy Commercial, has recently been named as the seventh most influential person within the UK solar energy sector by the international media business, Solar Media.  Its recent report, ‘The top 25 power list’, names the most prominent people within the UK’s photovoltaics industry.

Jonathan  is credited for taking the original Lark Energy business, which is part of the Larkfleet Group that also includes Larkfleet Homes,  from a 'standing start' when it was founded in  2010 to a company which now boasts an annual turnover of more than £70 million.  As a result of its continuing growth it was recently divided into a number of different operational businesses, with Jonathan taking charge of Lark Energy Commercial which specialises in large ground-mounted and roof-top solar power systems.

He also serves on the Armstrong Energy Global Foundation, which helps facilitate solar projects for people with no access to electricity, and sits on the board of the Solar Trade Association.  He regularly attends UK solar seminars and shows on behalf of Lark Energy.

Larkfleet Group CEO Karl Hick said: “We are delighted to see Jonathan recognised as an industry leader by this report as he is so highly regarded in the solar energy sector.  Lark Energy Commercial continues to go from strength to strength under Jonathan’s leadership.”
